Hi, my name is Yulong He.

I’m a programmer currently commencing my Master of Computing in Australia. I worked as an algorithms engineer in ChengDu, Sichuan, China. My interests include 3D computer graphics and animation, algorithms, computing, game engines, game development, and machine learning.

I started programming since 2014.

  • 2010 to 2014: Bachelor of Engineering, Oil&Gas Storage and Engineering, Southwest Petroleum University. I did some math stuff in there.
  • 2014 to 2017: Master of Engineering, Oil&Gas Storage and Engineering, China University of Petrolem. I did some research and programming for numerical computing and computational fluid mechanics.
  • 2017 to 2018: Software Engineer in Beijing for Web apps, front-end and back-end development.
  • 2018 to 2019: Starting a business as a technical directive for Web development and big data.
  • 2019 to 2024: Algorithm Engineer in Chengdu. I was doing research and development about computer graphics and character animation.

Now I mainly use C/C++ and Python as my programming language. I use C/C++ in Unreal application development and I am mainly focus on MetaHuman related projects. I use Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow as my main tools to do research about character animation.
